Welcome to Alpha delta PI
In 1851, Alpha Delta Pi became the world’s first secret society for collegiate women, setting the foundation for the entire sorority system, as we know it today. Since it was first established at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia, our sorority has expanded to more than 140 collegiate chapters throughout the U.S. and Canada, and has proudly initiated over 215,000 members.
For 160 years, our sisters have been guided by ADPi’s founding principles of sisterhood, scholarship, leadership, and service to others, upholding the legacy of being the “First, Finest, Forever.”
Our open motto, “We live for each other,” exemplifies the uniquely strong sisterhood of Alpha Delta Pi. Whether it is here at UCSB, at another chapter, or even abroad, sisters of ADPi are everywhere and always willing to support one another. Alpha Delta Pi sisterhood starts on bid day and lasts a lifetime through our priceless alumnae network and lifelong friendships.
